Weekend Workshops in Your City!
We are excited to announce Scherzo in Your Neighborhood, a new chamber music workshop series that takes place in your local city.

Under the expert guidance of our acclaimed faculty, these workshops help you to refine your chamber music playing, improve your ensemble rehearsal and performance skills, expand your repertoire, and meet new friends who also love to play chamber music.

Come as a trio, quartet, quintet or sextet and focus on any work(s) of your choosing in coaching sessions.

Offering a full-day Saturday (9 am-6 pm) and half-day Sunday (9am-1pm), Scherzo in Your Neighborhood workshops include:
  • ​3 coaching sessions with our superb faculty (2.5 hours each)
  • 1 session on chamber music fundamentals such as leading, phrasing, balance within the ensemble, rehearsal techniques, and skills for effective performance
  • Mini-concert by our faculty
​All this in a warm, supportive, and open atmosphere that encourages experimentation, understanding, and growth. ​​
Our faculty is comprised of outstanding performing artists who combine concert careers as chamber players with a dedication to teaching. They are passionate about sharing their expertise in an encouraging and supportive manner to help you achieve your musical goals.
